About the Role

You will serve as a WORK AND FAMILY LIFE COORDINATOR in the Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) of COMFLEACT YOKOSUKA. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.

What You'll Do

  • You will research, write articles, prepare and deliver briefings on programs and services.
  • You will develop and thoroughly review standard operating procedures and service delivery process to ensure adherence to laws, policies, certification standards, confidentiality standards, and quality assurance.
  • You will analyze new legislation to determine impact on program operations and management, making program adjustments and/or providing recommendations to the Director, as appropriate.
  • You will collaborate with military and community-based Quality of Life (QOL) strategic partners on executing multi-departmental installation QOL primary prevention events and activities.
  • You will maximize various forms of service delivery, including virtual services via webinar, video, email, phone and ship aboard to deployed service members.
  • You will review all new and existing Work and Family (WFL) programs and recommend changes to supervisor.

Requirements

  • In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
  • OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
