How the test works
The test is 50 short statements on a 7-point Likert scale ("Strongly disagree" to "Strongly agree", with "Neither" at the midpoint). Forty of them feed the four MBTI letters; ten feed the optional A/T identity letter.
The questions themselves are public-domain Big Five items from the International Personality Item Pool (44 items), plus six original items we wrote to sharpen three dichotomies where IPIP items underperform their MBTI counterparts. The full bank is published openly on the methodology page.
Your answers live in your browser's localStorage only. We do not collect them server-side, do not require an email, and do not gate the result behind a signup. Aggregate anonymous statistics are tracked via Google Analytics for validation research.
