About the Position: Incumbent serves as Defense Articles Specialist, Office Manager, Country Clearance Officer, Customs Officer, and an action officer in the European Command (EUCOM) Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), France. Acts as ODC France's primary liaison to French Ministry of Defense (MoD), the French Delegate General for Armament (DGA), French MILDEPs, OSD, Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), US MILDEPs, and French and US defense industries for visitor travel and approvals.
What You'll Do
- →Manage and implement both the Routine and Enhanced End Use Monitoring and Third-Party Transfer Programs.
- →Responsible for the management of the government purchase card (GPC) account and for ensuring appropriate and legal use of the card.
- →Oversee the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) France's Country Clearance Program.
- →Ensure administrative completeness and adherence to established procedures, governing policy, and necessary requirements.
- →Interpret, prepare, and incorporate information and data in response to inquiries, problems, or projects for use in the decision-making process.
- →Receive calls and visitors, make appointments, maintain files, and prepare official correspondence, narrative reports, or other forms of correspondence.
- →Plan and execute daily office functions for Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) France.
- →Assist with the planning and coordination of support to US Embassy France, EUCOM, Department of Defense (DoD), and US government interagency participation in recurring international tradeshows.
