Joining the Secret Service, Office of Field Operations will allow you to manage the vehicle fleet which involves the budget, purchase, lease and disposal of vehicles as well as coordinating, developing, and evaluating all related activities. What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as a Vehicle Fleet Specialist in the Office of Field Operations.
- →Typical work assignments include: Planning, directing, and administering the organization's Vehicle Fleet Operations Program, which includes reviewing standard operating procedures and directives pertaining to the proper use of government owned/leased vehicles.
- →Establishing maintenance schedules, ensuring completion of vehicle accident reports, compiling various statistical reports concerning vehicle status and usage, and maintaining appropriate files.
- →Preparing contracts with manufacturers' representatives concerning leased vehicles, in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- →Providing technical advice and assistance to staff of all matters associated with the management and operation of government owned/leased vehicles.

- →This Vehicle Fleet Specialist position starts at a base salary of $76,463.00, GS -12 step 1, with potential to $99,404.00, GS-12 step 10.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

- ✓Possess a valid U.S.
- ✓Motor Vehicle Operator's License and maintain a valid license while you occupy the position.
