What You'll Do
- →As a UNITED KINGDOM COMBATANT COMMAND REPRESENTATIVE you will be responsible for the following duties: Serves as the DTRA Director's representative to the supported command.
- →Synchronizes information sharing and CWMD priorities across DTRA, the U.S.
- →Embassy, and the broader U.S. interagency to ensure cohesive DTRA-UK engagement.
- →Cultivates trusted, strategic relationships with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and broader UK government interlocutors to advance DTRA CWMD objectives.
- →Identifies and advances opportunities to expand, improve, or optimize DTRA-UK cooperation addressing mutual CWMD priorities.
- →Advises DTRA leadership and staff on risks, operational issues, and atmospherics with potential impact on DTRA-UK collaboration.
- →Facilitates planning, execution, and reporting for bilateral and multilateral events and governance forums, such as those that fall under the Bilateral CWMD Leadership Group, Mutual Defence Agreement, and Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Memorandum of Understanding.
- →Assesses UK MOD strategic priorities, doctrine, plans, and ongoing initiatives to inform potential avenues for joint CWMD cooperation.
- →Counsels UK counterparts on CWMD issues, in alignment with U.S. interests and appropriate information sharing.
- →Orchestrates DTRA engagements and strategic communications with UK counterparts at all levels.
