What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: to assist the Chief, Education and Training Office in administering the education and training programs, provide technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within unit organizations on all aspects of the program.
- →This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position.
- →Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
- →DUTIES: DUTY 1: Assists the Chief, Education and Training in administration of Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs.
- →Manages the enlisted training programs.
- →Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies DOD,AF, AFRC, NAF policies instructions and guidance by establishing and implementing unit training plans, policies and procedures.
- →DUTY 2: Responsible for overall management OJT program for the wing.
- →Conducts Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) and identifies root cause of deficiencies and recommends corrective actions for process improvements.
- →Implements and manages training programs, policies and procedures as directed by higher headquarters.
- →Familiarize personnel at all levels with training concepts, scope, methods and procedures.
- →DUTY 3: Manages the development of education and training instructional products.
- →Selects instructional methods that involve the development of lesson plans, task breakdowns, equipment requirements, and instructional aids when teaching the AFTC, Air Force Training Record System (AFTRS) and Training Business Area (TBA).
- →DUTY 4: Plans, directs, organizes, and coordinates operations of the Advance Distributed Learning, and multimedia education and training programs.
- →Troubleshoots system as needed and contacts uplink broadcast facility concerning difficulties with video/audio reception.
