About the Position: Serves as a Combat Paramedic Program training instructor to monitor and evaluate the Combat Paramedic Program curricula for alignment with the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration's (NHTSA) Office of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Incumbent performs doctrinal instruction in prehospital medicine for US military personnel. Incumbent develops course material and counsels/mentors students.
What You'll Do
- →Adapts and revises curricula to meet ever-changing practices in subject matter to help students who are not successful with learning the subject matter.
- →Develops lesson plans, lectures, demonstrations, and medical practical exercises for enlisted students enrolled in the US Army Combat Paramedic Program.
- →Evaluates student achievement for particular low and high ability students or groups and improves instruction through the application of innovative or advanced instructional techniques.
- →Advises the supervisor on the issues involving enlisted instruction.
- →Updates and rewrites lesson plans on a continuous basis to maintain changes in doctrine and curriculum development for Combat Paramedic training.
- →Maintains and updates materials based on research of applicable references, often compiling and organizing material that is not consolidated or well-organized by the original authors.
