You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (FPN-68 RADAR / ILS) in the Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as an Air Traffic Control Electronics Maintenance Instructor.
- →You will provide formal classroom and practical laboratory instruction utilizing approved course materials, training aides, and other media in the basic skills area.
- →You will provide training instruction for the following courses where students range from US military E-3 through E-7, DOD civilian employees, DOD contractors, and foreign nationals in a small classroom setting.
- →You will perform curriculum maintenance for the course material and all associated practical testing faults, ensuring Instructor Guides, Student Guides and Schematics are current and up to date.
- →You will participate in student evaluation and counseling programs and student advisory boards in accordance with current directives.
- →You will teach at the intermediate and advanced level of maintenance training and involves principles of operations, troubleshooting, repairing, and fleet maintenance procedures to the lowest replaceable unit (LRU).
- →You will teach the following courses: (C-103-2070) AN/FPN-68 Maintenance Training, 4-weeks and (C-103-2071) AN/GRN-33(v) Maintenance Training, 4-weeks.
- →You will be responsible to the Air Traffic Control Maintenance Training Officer for course of instruction of the Navy Precision Approach AN/FPN-68 Radar and the AN/GRN-33 Instrument Landing System (ILS).

- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
