About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Traffic Management Specialist in the ARTRANS G3 Terminal Operations Division with responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of cargo movement via sealift around the world. Responsibilities include a mastery of technical transportation skills applicable to the movement of all classes of cargo to include plans, concepts, principles, readiness, systems, and methodology along with the skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
What You'll Do
- →Develop position papers, briefings, and reports on high-visibility transportation and logistics issues.
- →Advise and brief senior leaders on transportation systems, policies, and procedures.
- →Interact with industry partners to ensure alignment with commercial practices and maintain system health.
- →Ensure timely execution and follow-up of initiatives to realize projected cost savings and efficiencies.
- →Develop comprehensive plans to document, track, and report progress on major projects and initiatives.
