What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for exercising both administrative and technical control over staffing/recruitment and classification/position management.
- →You will be responsible for administrative control over training and workforce/employee development; management-employee relations; labor relations; and worker's compensation.
- →You will be responsible for the integration, management, and supervision of internal/external recruitment and selection programs as well as for position classification and other Human Resources (HR) processes.
- →You will be responsible for providing technical advise to HR Specialists within the Human Resources Office (HRO), as well as to liaisons and managers in assigned directorates.
- →You will be responsible for the full range of first line supervisory functions.
- →You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating both long-range work goals and specific projects to accomplish staffing and classification services in order to meet known needs/future goals of the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
- →You will be responsible for advising managers and supervisors ono requirements, resources, and problems in organizations involving a high degree of complexity.
- →You will be responsible for advising management on recruitment strategies, sources, special programs, recruitment, relocation, and retention incentive programs.
- →You will be responsible for providing guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, the development and use of valid selection criteria, and other approaches that may help the organization.
