- →The DAS for Finance and Budget is responsible for the integrity of all Housing-FHA accounting records, the preparation of timely and accurate financial and management reports on all FHA activities.
- →As a/an Supervisory System Analyst, you will: Serve as Director with responsibility for supervising and guiding staff assigned to the Office of Systems and Technology, establish their general work priorities, establish performance standards, and evaluate their performance.
- →Demonstrate personal leadership and foster organizational responsiveness for assigned functions, maintain effective working relationships with staff throughout the Office of Housing and the Department.
- →Distribute and balance workload, track work progress and status to meet programmatic goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
- →Identify and manage resources needed by the staff to carry out their responsibilities, including staffing, training, office space, personal computers, and related operational needs.
- →Use continuous improvement approaches to increase productivity, work product quality, lower costs, improve delivery times, and improve employee satisfaction/morale.
- →Provide innovative solutions to challenges.
- →Manage a staff of system liaisons who coordinate, compile and assist in the preparation and submission of information required for HUD's information system security, privacy, financial management, and other compliance procedures.
- →The system liaison staff is responsible for ensuring that issues are identified, assigned, and resolved.
Requirements
- ✓The official duty station for this position will be in Alexandria, Virginia.
- ✓Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.
- ✓Key Requirements: Must be U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓A probationary or trial period may be required.
- ✓Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
- ✓A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- ✓Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9.
- ✓Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
