At the Indian Health Service, Supervisory Supply Management Specialists provide strategic leadership for Agency wide property, supply, inventory, and fleet management programs. They develop policy, oversee operations, and strengthen accountability, compliance, and resource stewardship across the organization. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Direct Agency wide property, supply, inventory, and fleet management programs to ensure effective stewardship of government assets and support organizational priorities.
- →Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives that improve asset accountability, operational efficiency, and compliance with federal laws and regulations.
- →Serve as the principal advisor to senior leadership on property, supply, and fleet management issues, providing expert guidance on program direction, resource management, and operational improvements.
- →Lead and supervise professional staff by establishing priorities, managing workloads, developing employee performance, and promoting continuous process improvement.
- →Coordinate with federal agencies, Tribal partners, and internal stakeholders to strengthen asset management programs, enhance operational effectiveness, and support long term strategic objectives.
Requirements

- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required upon selection/placement.
