About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
What You'll Do
- →Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Post 9/11 Military 2VA (M2VA) Program Manager oversees all transition and coordination of care activities for Post 9/11 Servicemembers and Veterans (SM/Vs) treated at the facility.
- →Incumbent serves as the Point of Contact (POC) and Coordinator for the Transition and Care management (M2VA) Program and assumes all of the technical and administrative responsibility for management of this program.
- →Provides administrative oversight of the M2VA Program to include planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures; developing program goals and objectives; and monitoring, operating, and evaluating the functioning of the program.
- →Coordinates comprehensive program elements and services for preventive mental and physical health evaluations for program participants.
- →Promotes and coordinates evaluations for the M2VA Program anywhere within the facility and any outlying Community-based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) Prepares program reports for he VA Central Office, VISN POC, and Medical Center leadership.
- →Monitors procedures for referrals between the VA medical center, Military Treatment Facility and /or community hospitals that promote appropriate and timely inter-facility transfers.
- →Manages, coordinates, and advocates for the provision of individual and family treatment as well as other services as needed.
- →Oversees the Transition Patient Advocates, including monitoring their caseload and the advocacy service provided to post 9/11 SM/V in their caseload.

- →Parental Leave: After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.
