About the Role
About the Position: You will serve as an Supervisory Social Worker (Clinical) at the Army Medical Center Eisenhower on Fort Gordon, GA for the Defense Health Agency. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Function as the authoritative source of information for the specialty of Social Work, and mental health.
- →Interact with military commanders and must be able to provide extensive knowledge of Soldiering and the deployment missions.
- →Provide concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient’s medical record in no more than 72 hours after the patient is seen.
- →Supervise assigned professional and paraprofessional employees, military personnel, federal civilian employees, and provides technical oversight to contract employees assigned to the Clinic.
- →Work as an inter-disciplinary team member to develop specific clinical pathways or best practice programs for targeted patient groups such as patients with acute stress symptoms and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
