About the Position: Serve as the Supervisory Security Specialist for Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), responsible for managing and directing a comprehensive protection program. This program encompasses anti-terrorism, physical security, personnel security, information security, operations security, and emergency management.
What You'll Do
- →Provide administrative and technical oversight of subordinate security specialists.
- →Develop and justify organizational structure, manpower, and budgetary requirements.
- →Direct the organization's Personnel Security Program.
- →Provide recommendations to leadership on position sensitivity, risk designations, and hiring decisions based on investigation results.
- →Oversee the planning and implementation of a multi-layered physical security and crime prevention strategy.
- →Manage the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Operations Security (OPSEC) programs to protect sensitive and classified information.
- →Direct the organization's Emergency Management (EM) program.
- →Analyze national security threats to determine their impact on ANC operations.
- →Evaluate and approve security plans to ensure the safety of all participants.
