Supervisory Program Specialist is assigned to the Assistant Director's Office and oversees the Experience Office. You are responsible for oversite and management of the Experience Service Line. Functions as the key driver and champion for developing, maintaining and enhancing the associated programs, physical changes in the environment to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Defines new processes and practices of the healthcare model centered around beginning to end customers experience.
What You'll Do
- →Include but not limited to: Researches and evaluates existing programs having an impact on the Employee and Veteran experience, identifies gaps, and develops recommendations to ELT.
- →Develops unique ideas that may be the first of its kind across the VA enterprise.
- →Possess strong communication skills to include listening, observing, writing, speaking, and presenting.
- →Provide program development and management.
- →Developing and coordinating internal review and systems of evaluation to assure that both clinical and administrative activities are in compliance with agency and accrediting and regulatory requirements.
- →Provides technical and administrative advice, counsel, and instruction to employees.
- →Develops short and long-range work plans and schedules within the unit, ensuring implementation of the goals and objectives of the unit.
- →Collaboration with HR Servicing agency Employee Relations, reviews and approves serious disciplinary actions of assigned staff.
- →Promotes an environment in which employees are empowered to participate in and contribute to effective mission accomplishments.
- →Improve production or increase the quality of work within the area of authority.
- →Please note: A one year supervisory probation period may be required for this position.
