This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for mission support to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Blue Grass Army Depot located at Richmond, Kentucky. This position serves as the Supervisory Program Specialist (Unmanned Aerial Systems), managing the Blue Grass Army Depot UAS Innovation Hub and overseeing UAS testing and certification.
What You'll Do
- →Manages the end-to-end life cycle of complex projects within the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) innovation Hub.
- →Establishes work procedures to meet desired objectives for program Ensures compliance with DoD regulations, federal statutes and standards.
- →Coordinate with senior leadership for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) certification, development, and testing to meet the needs of the Army.
- →Maintains knowledge of latest modernization advances in technologies involved in Unmanned Aerial Systems through multiple resources and contacts.
- →Develops standard operating procedures concerning Unmanned Aerial Systems testing and certification operations.
