In cities across the country, you would secure airports, seaports, railroads, highways, and/or public transit systems, thus protecting America's transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce.

What You'll Do

  • →This Supervisory Program Specialist position is located in Facilities and Administration (F&A),Mission Support (MS), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
  • →Duties include but are not limited to: Serves as Supervisory Program Specialist leading the F&A Front Office Team and acts as principle Specialist on behalf of the F&A Assistant Administrator Reviews and validates content of strategic reports to Congress, Office of Inspector General (IG),Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Government Accountability Office (GAO).
  • →Provides feedback to division based upon understanding of vision and needs Oversees tasking, tracking, reviewing, and coordinating and integrating a broad range of tasks.
  • →Conducts research on Legislative proposals, Department-level or Agency-level strategic plans, and Congressional Questions for the Record; and provides background information, prepares reports and written responses to internal and external requests for use by senior management and other internal and external sources.
  • →Maintains baseline performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement in the F&A correspondence process, updates and maintains standard operating procedures for the Correspondence team.

  • ✓You may be required to complete a one year Supervisory Trial Period.
