Serves as a Supervisory Program Specialist at the National Institutes of Health overseeing program operations, staff supervision, project management, policy development, and budget administration in support of NIH mission priorities and organizational goals. The Institutes and Centers participating in this recruitment are Office of the Director (OD), Executive Secretariat (ES) and Office of Research Services (ORS)
What You'll Do
- →Plans, analyzes, interprets, and evaluates program operations and services to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
- →Supervises and directs the operations by planning and assigning work to staff based on management priorities, employee capabilities, and schedules.
- →Develops and implements policies and procedures for the management and delivery of simplified acquisition, procurement, and contracting services.
- →Plans, organizes, and carries out budget planning and administration for programs and activities.
- →Provides project management expertise on a broad range of high-priority, cross-cutting, difficult, and complex projects of significance in diverse areas related to the center’s mission.
- →Develops organizational guidelines, policies and standard operation procedures and makes major recommendations concerning space and facilities programs and services.
