This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans (PLCY), Counterterrorism & Homeland Threats (CTHT). Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supervisory Policy Analyst managing policy analysts in the Counterterrorism (CT) and Hostile Nation States (HNS) team.
- →As a Supervisory Policy Analyst, GS-0301-15, your typical work assignments may include: Analyzing complex Counterterrorism/Hostile Nation State (CT/HNS) issues, leading coordination with stakeholder to develop and implement policies, plans, and strategies to address such issues.
- →Building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders with different cultures and interests.
- →Establishing guidelines, performance expectations, and training requirements for staff, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system, and recruiting and, most importantly, retaining high quality employees.
- →Performing administrative and human resource management functions for staff.
