What You'll Do
- →Responsible for developing and ensuring effective, efficient delivery of facility, personnel security and safety for the BOP Director, and when deemed necessary, the BOP Executive Staff while engaged in an official capacity.
- →Oversees the Protective Operations Unit (POU), which is responsible for the direct physical protection of the Director and, when deemed necessary, BOP Executive staff.
- →Required to carry a firearm.
- →Ensures that the Executive Protection Agents (EPA) maintain close body coverage of the Director at all venues.
- →Coordinates the details of security, logistics, and related administrative matters with executive level staff to include the Director or designee.
- →Analyzes, approves, and communicates relevant protective operations, threat assessment factors and applies subject matter expertise to the protective detail operations.
Requirements
