About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center with the Directorate of Nursing on a Medical/Surgical Inpatient Unit in San Diego, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Assign work to subordinates based on scope of practice and matches the complexity of work with the experience of the employee.
- →Coordinate comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical/Surgical Unit.
- →Manage enrollment of staff in the Occupational Health Monitoring Program to ensure safety compliance.
- →Make frequent rounds of work units to evaluate quality of patient care and to ensure overall patient safety and welfare.
