About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center, Directorate of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Oversees the scope of practice and provision of nursing services within an ambulatory clinic, which may also include multiple Patient-Centered Medical Homes within each practice or clinic.
- →Advises senior leadership on nursing matters; reviewing, recommending changes and assisting in the development of regulations, procedures and other matters.
- →Serve as a clinic nursing subject matter expert and perform direct patient nursing care as needed.
- →Direct and educate staff about organizational policies and initiatives.
- →Explain work requirements, methods, procedures, and instruct subordinates in new procedures and provide advice and guidance when problems arise, or assignments involve new or complex technologies.
- →Evaluate work performance and productivity; make decisions on training needs and requests by nursing and ancillary staff.
- →Sets deadlines and priorities in accomplishing objectives within scheduled milestones; maintains production reports and records.
