Supervisory MSA at this level plans and directs programs at medical centers and/or Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) including Primary Care, Specialty Care, Mental Health, Call Center at March AFB, Eligibility, etc. They have full responsibility for supervising at least one subordinate MSA team leader, supervisor, or equivalent administrative patient support staff in a VA medical inpatient, outpatient, or interdisciplinary setting. This announcement may be used to fill future vacancies.
What You'll Do
- →Major duties include, but are not limited: Assigns and evaluates the work of subordinate staff.
- →Resolves complex problems to ensure patient services are met.
- →Evaluates new products, equipment, and systems to make recommendations for improved operations.
- →Identifies training needs of staff.
- →Makes final decisions on hiring selections.
- →Evaluates performance and take disciplinary action when necessary The incumbent has administrative and professional responsibility for planning and directing the subordinate lead, supervisor and MSA activities.
- →Extracts and analyzes data to provide reports to senior leaders.
- →Reviews reports, tracks performance measures and develops action plans for improvement when not meeting target measure for their areas of oversight.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm; Tour may vary, may include weekend, holidays, evening, etc.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
