About the Position This position is located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Direct and supervise full time Medical Records Technicians.
- →Instruct subordinates in specific tasks and job techniques.
- →Recommend the maintenance and/or replacement of equipment.
- →Prepare formal evaluations of employee performance.
- →Select personnel from list of eligible applicants.
- →Aide in determining and establishing policies pertaining to medical records.
- →Maintain current knowledge of outpatient record administration and keep Department Head, Patient Administration Division (PAD), informed of Outpatient Records Section issues.
- →Ensure the timely retirement of records IAW current DHA Instructions.
- →Recommend maximum utilization and the allocation of space within the department to promote an orderly flow and maintenance of records and documents.
