You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Compensation) in the Recruitment and Compensation Department of the Fleet Human Resources Office of FLEET HRO NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Supervisory HR Specialist for Recruitment and Placement, providing administrative and technical supervision to the assigned staff.
- →You will assist in developing short- and long-range staffing plans to meet forecasted mission requirements, human capital losses, and changes in critical competencies.
- →You will provide guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, the development and use of valid selection criteria, and other approaches that may help in staffing the organization.
- →You will identify subordinate employees’ developmental and training needs, provides or arrange for needed development and training.
- →You will advise management on the development of full compensation packages such as recruitment, relocation and retention incentives, and superior qualification appointments.
