About the Role
This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Human Capital, Workforce Management Group, Division of Performance & Organizational Programs. As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Division DIrector), GS-0201-15, you will serve as the Division Director, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR policies, initiatives, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- →Exercises significant responsibilities in dealing with high-level Agency officials, establishes long-range plans, and negotiates the status of work assignments and impact on the Division, Group, Office, and Agency operations.
- →Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- →Work with internal and external managers to formulate organizational goals.
- →Represent the organization on committees and work groups.
- →Provides leadership in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of policies, initiatives, and procedures.
