This position is located in the Office of the Undersecretary for Management, Executive Office, Workforce Operations Office (M/EX/WOO) which provides services to the M Family's workforce and supports the entire Department through enterprise-wide programs and projects. This position provides leadership and oversight to ensure the effective implementation of policies, programs, and services that align with the M Family's workforce needs and organizational goals.
What You'll Do
- →Provides executive leadership and operational oversight for the assigned branch, which includes various HR functions related to awards, leave and benefits programs, compensation, and training, with a primary focus on performance management.
- →Oversees day-to-day operations, workflow management, and the effective delivery of branch-specific programs, ensuring alignment with Departmental policies, Division objectives, and organizational priorities.
- →Supervises branch staff, a team of human resources (HR) Specialists responsible for the administration and delivery of programs across various HR functions.
- →Translates Department and Division policy into operational procedures and branch -level initiatives across a comprehensive range of functional HR areas.
- →Serves as the principal advisor and representative for the branch in engagements with M Family leadership, other HR divisions, and external stakeholders.
