This position is located in the Bureau of Human Resources, Office of Talent Services, Client Services Division, Recruitment and Staffing Branch (HR/TS/CLI/RS). The Office of Talent Services administers the position classification, staffing, and pay administration programs for several client bureaus. Talent Services provides advisory services, guidance, technical assistance, and operations-level support services to client bureaus.
What You'll Do
- →Directs, coordinates, oversees, and exercises significant responsibilities in dealing with, advising, and negotiating with officials within the Department and other agencies.
- →Serves as deciding official on the full range of personnel actions.
- →Leads a section of professional highly technical and complex administrative program, impacting all elements of the HR customer service of the Bureau.
- →Supervises a staff compromised of HR professional employees ranging from trainees to journeyman level, planning work to be accomplished and setting priorities and performance standards.
- →Ensures that EEO and affirmative action goals are met and that subordinates know about and observe EEO affirmative action requirements.
