About the Role

This position serves as a Supervisory HR Specialist for the Power Marketing Administration Shared Service Center (PMA SSC), Employee Services and Compensation Division, Workforce Relations Branch. As the Supervisory HR Specialist, you will provide technical advice, guidance and interpretation of law and regulations and broader Human Capital functions relative to the Employee Relations (ER) program, Employee Benefits Programs and HR processing program/project activities.

What You'll Do

  • Establishes program objectives, deadlines, and goals.
  • Manages workload based on internal and external drivers; assigns and prioritizes work, analyzes, and resolves awork problems.
  • Collaborate with other SSC HR Branch and Advisory Office supervisors to negotiate, coordinate, and determine work-related changes.
  • Ensures delegated HR programs provide outstanding customer responsiveness, innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • In full partnership with management, integrates employee relations, benefit and processing operations with mission needs and management objectives while maintaining decisions, operations, and transactions consistent with applicable laws, regulations, guidance, merit principles and when applicable labor relations and current collective bargaining contracts.
  • Advises, and consults with the highest levels of PMA management, interacts with national union representatives, and local union Presidents.
  • Establishes, collaborates, and maintains effective relationships with employee organizations representing Federal employees.
  • Guides and consults with management on various labor relations matters; negotiates and manages employees administering labor agreements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S.
  • Citizen or National.

  • May be required to complete a one-year Supervisory probation period.
