The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Chief, Classification Division. The Position Management and Classification Branch is responsible for administration, management, policy development, training, and compliance of both the Army and Air National Guard Specific Position Management and Classification Programs with T32 and Title 5 Excepted Service knowledge.
What You'll Do
- →Plans and directs operations for the Position Management and Classification Branch (NGB-J1-TCPC).
- →Develops, carries out and evaluates long-range plans and projects to accomplish position management and classification activities for T32 Dual Status Technicians and T5 excepted service in order to meet organizational and position needs of supported organizations throughout the National Guard.
- →Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set priorities, advises employees on program goals and objectives, and makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors.
- →Provides expert advice to senior leaders, management, operating HR offices and/or to other program evaluation staff members in the areas of program improvement.
