This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing, revising policies, procedures, and mission objectives to ensure development, coordination and processing of SC Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs); Establishing and proposing development of new policy and procedural guidance governing the management of approved SA/SC programs.
What You'll Do
- →As a SUPERVISORY FOREIGN MILITARY SALES ANALYST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Establishes, revises/reviews policies, procedures, and mission objectives to ensure development, coordination and processing of SC Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) and related documents and regulatory compliance.
- →Reviews and recommends business processes to ensure quality LOAs are processed in a timely fashion and achieve USG and customer requirements.
- →Periodically reviews proposed changes to plans, data systems, and operations to determine if SA procedures or operations are compatible with the DoD and Military Service (Army, Navy, and Air Force) policy and procedures or must be modified to accomplish changes.
- →Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with mid-to upper-level officials within OSD, Defense Agencies, Military Services, State Department, and DSCA as well as other coordinating organizations while providing specialized support.
- →Evaluates metrics, reports, analyzes facts, performing appropriate research, and preparing detailed responses when needed.
