You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, WORKFORCE AND BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
- →You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
- →You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
- →You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; develop format and content to provide managers with various listing, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations.
- →You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
- →You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
- →You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develops and issues implementing procedures and ensures compliance with internal controls.
- →You will prepare or reviews responses to reviews or audits, which involve financial management policy and procedure.
- →You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
