This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain personnel of the DOD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position provides critical services to OMD and the tenants on APG to include answering emergency service calls, maintaining the Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations, assigning work to Industrial Equipment Mechanic's and Plant Operators.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs and reviews the work of a multi-disciplined staff of wage grade trades.
- →Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- →Acts as a liaison to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on maintenance, repair, and various other construction projects.
- →Prepares or supervises preparation of basic information such as construction drawings, sketches, plans, cost estimates, bills of materials, detailed justifications and descriptions of scopes of work to be performed.
- →Provides inspections and reports of contract performance for adherence to contract compliance, specifications, plans, government regulations, laws, and industry standards.
