The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to HQ USAFA/RRA, Liaison and Outreach Division, and the 9001st Air Reserve Squadron (Admissions Liaison Officers).
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of HQ USAFA/RRA, ensuring that the Region of the Liaison and Outreach Division complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Liaison and Outreach objectives.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Represents USAFA Admissions, Liaison and Outreach Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with USAFA Mission Elements, 10 ABW organizations, AFROTC, AFRS, Community Based Organizations, high school administrators, and congressional staffers.
- →Trains personnel on the ALO program.
- →Develops new approaches and concepts in planning, evaluating and providing leadership to major long-range programs designed to spur significant advances in the AF Admissions Liaison program and have a major impact on agency programs and future nationwide activities.
- →Acts as Deputy Chief, Liaison and Outreach Division when required.
- →Supports the Chief, Liaison and Outreach Division in all division activities.
