The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory District Asset Forfeiture Coordinator responsible for managing all asset forfeiture activities within the assigned district including coordinating all phases of the asset forfeiture process including pre-seizure planning, custody, and disposition. This position is located in the USMS Southern District of Florida's Asset Forfeiture Unit.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory District Asset Forfeiture Coordinator at the GS-0301-12 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensures the financial integrity of all asset forfeiture activities with the assigned district office.
- →Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) by assuring contractors meet the performance requirements of the contract in terms of quality, quantity, schedule and cost.
- →Serve as a liaison with U.S.
- →Attorney's Office, federal, state, and local government agencies.
- →Plans and conducts ongoing evaluations of the effectiveness of the district's asset forfeiture program in meeting agency and district goals and objectives.
- →Plans, coordinates, and oversees all asset forfeiture operations and activities with the assigned district office, including pre-seizure planning and custody, management, and disposition of seized/forfeited assets.
- →Exercises technical and administrative supervisory responsibility that is in keeping with a first level supervisory position.
