About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Executive Director of Operations, and as the principal senior cyberspace operations advisor to the Director of Operations (J3) in the Cyber National Mission Force Headquarters (CNMFHQ).
- →Serve as a supervisor, including planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over non-supervisory employees assigned to the CNMF Operations Directorate (CNMF J3).
- →Serves as the principal expert and organizational continuity on the conduct of operations in support of the CNMF mission.
- →Oversees all phases of the CNMF J3’s activities and work.
- →Responsible for decisions that have a direct and substantial impact on the management of cyber policy, planning, and resourcing encompassing CNMF operations.
- →Provide direction for cyberspace operations (CO), strategic theater engagement, and development of strategic policy and guidance, as well as for anticipating and synchronizing cyberspace activities for the CNMF.
- →Provide continuous supervision and direction on all facets of CNMF operations, including planning, command and control, fires, mission management, and enabling partnerships.
