This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare (CM), Provider Communications Group (PCG). As a Supervisory Communications Specialist, GS-1001-15, you will serve as Division Director, leading the development and implementation of policies, programs, and procedures related to the planning, design, development, distribution and evaluation of Original Medicare products for health care providers.
What You'll Do
- →Oversee the activities of staff who work under technical direction, as well as those senior staff who work under administrative direction.
- →Oversee, reviews or personally develops and produces a variety of written products, including Original Medicare provider educational material, briefing documents, presentations, reports, and talking points for the Group Director and deputy Director.
- →Serve as a technical expert and resource to CMS leadership, as well as other internal and external stakeholders on developing and managing provider education communications dissemination strategy that supports Agency program and outreach goals.
- →Function as the principal technical specialist in the assigned program area(s) and may lead teams from the same or other componenets.
