The position is located at the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH), Resident Services, Admissions in Washington, DC.
What You'll Do
- →As a SUPERVISORY ADMISSIONS OFFICER, you will: Obtain copies of approved applicant's healthcare insurance.
- →Be responsible for room readiness and making room assignments for all new Residents.
- →Serve as the primary advisor to the Chief, Resident Services, on matters relating to the daily welfare and morale of the Resident population in the Admissions and residency areas.
- →Prepare administrative hearing data for Resident administrative hearings, attends hearings and makes recommendations for administrative action.
- →Acquire and maintain Contract Officer's Representative (COR) certificate and oversee contracts assigned by the Chief of Resident Services.

- ✓Depending on your position, you may also be required to file a public or confidential financial disclosure report which must be filed within 30 days of your appointment as an employee of AFRH.
- ✓Upon your new appointment, you will receive guidance regarding your ethics obligations.
- ✓You will also be required to attend a mandatory ethics training within 3 months of your appointment.
