This position reports to the Primary Care Service and Outpatient Clinics under the Office of the Associate Director. Serves as the Supervisory Administrative Officer for the Jacksonville University CBOC and St. Mary's CBOC, utilizing specialized experience and knowledge of the fundamentals of healthcare, human resources, and management to develop strategies to ensure time management of their associated Regional Chief Medical Officer. You will be required to cover both sites.
What You'll Do
- →Include but not limited to: Exercises local oversight and protocols guidance in the administrative and clinical activities.
- →Develops internal personnel management policies for employees of the VA Clinics.
- →Provides managerial oversight to a team, which includes administrative staff.
- →Analyzing, evaluating, advising, and coordinating healthcare delivery systems, access, and operations.
- →Conducts process improvement initiatives and lean management techniques.
- →Provides strategic planning and resource allocation.
- →Develops internal personnel management policies for employees in the VA Clinic(s) under their purview.
- →Designs and implements policies, and procedures to manage administrative and personnel related functions.
- →Provides full staff assistance on administrative matters.
- →Consults with respective staff and/or personnel on progress in taking corrective action.

Requirements
