This position is located in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Human Resources Directorate (HRD). HRD provides comprehensive human resources to the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Department of War (DoW) agencies and field activities, and select government organizations.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Leads the design and development of the methodology, strategies, processes, and analytic tools to characterize, segment, track analyze, and forecast the Department's workforce.
- →Maintains and analyzes timely analytics and metrics for reporting on strategic workforce initiatives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis.
- →Maintains cognizance of relevant human capital trends and best practices for the OSW civilian workforce.
- →Prepares workforce planning related reports, briefs, white papers, correspondences, strategic communications etc.
- →Leads the strategic workforce planning process and provide technical expertise for the development and implementation of the DoW Human Capital Framework, composed of short and long-term strategies to workforce address challenges and opportunities.
