About the Role

This position is located at Fort Hood, TX. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives and bonuses will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Provide a comprehensive inclusive approach to serving children and youth, ages six weeks to 18 years, with medical, educational, or other identified needs participating in Department of Defense (DoD) Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs.
  • Serves as a core member of the installation Inclusion Action Team (IAT)/Multidisciplinary Inclusion Action Team (M-IAT) and monitors compliance with Service policy, DoD instructions, and federal law.
  • Spends at least 50 percent of their time in classroom/activity area settings, promoting, modeling, coaching, and mentoring CYS Professionals to promote implementation of inclusive practices.

Requirements

  • Proof of education is required at the time of application.
  • Note: Education must be directly related to the position to be filled.
  • General Education courses do not count toward the credit total.
