About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Space Operations Officer at USSOUTHCOM Operations Directorate - Integrated Operations Division in Miami, FL.
What You'll Do
- →Develop global integrated space operational plans and annexes to achieve and maintain space superiority for the nation.
- →Coordinate and integrate Space Forces in Annex N (Space) and Annex S (Special Technical Operations) in all phases of plan development and execution at the Joint level during deliberate planning.
- →Prepare Evaluation Response Messages (EResMs) and Combatant Command Evaluation Request Messages (EReqMs) in accordance with policy.
- →Provide leadership with planning, coordination, and execution support on all matters pertaining to terrestrial space mission areas.
- →Facilitate space domain operations campaign and contingency planning.
- →Determine the application and employment of Space to solve SOUTHCOM operational deficiencies.
- →Analyze operational plans and orders to ensure command essential elements of information are protected.
