About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Clinical Social Worker for a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), providing a comprehensive range of complex clinical social work services and mental health care services to all active-duty military members assigned to the installation. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Provide individual and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities.
- →Work with highly complex cases in which individuals are severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses.
- →Collect bio-psycho-social information about patients to identify problems and concerns.
- →Analyze information collected to determine psychiatric diagnosis, treatment plan and/or advisability of counseling or referral to other specialists or institutions.
- →Interact with other professionals to discuss therapy or treatment, new resources or techniques.
- →Document case work to comply with regulations, such as outcome/assessment results and high-risk clinical issues.
- →Provide case management services to effectively manage patients enrolled in behavioral intensive outpatient behavioral programs.
- →Perform a variety of quality management/quality assurance duties to meet The Joint Commission (TJC) and Department of Health Agency (DHA) requirements.
