About the Role
About the Position: This position is based in the schools, thus applicants must have direct therapeutic experience with children and adolescents starting at Pre-K and above and the ability to work with stakeholders across multidisciplinary backgrounds. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Work with highly complex cases in which individuals are severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses to include factors such as history of trauma, co-occurring conditions and suicide.
- →Provide individual, family, and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities as clinically indicated for adults and children to assist clients to identify and manage personal, psychological and interactive problems.
- →Analyze information collected to determine psychiatric diagnosis, treatment plan and/or advisability of counseling or referral to other specialists or institutions.
- →Consult reference material to identify symptoms, make diagnoses, and develop therapeutic treatment plans.
- →Interact with other professionals to discuss therapy or treatment, new resources or techniques.
- →Provide case management services to effectively manage patients enrolled in behavioral intensive outpatient behavioral programs and prevent crises.
- →Provide reports and approve consults.
- →Establish and monitor objective behavioral outcome measures.
