About the Role
About the Position: Serves as Social Worker (Clinical) responsible for Screening and interviewing patients and perform bio-psychosocial evaluations using expert knowledge of general and specific concepts, principles, procedures, and practices relating to psychological counseling. This is a re-announcement of Social Worker (Clinical), GS-0185-12 under announcement number HSJA-26-12934258-DHA that closed 05-MAY-2026. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Make mental health diagnoses as appropriate in accordance with DSM-IV-TR criteria or other more current accepted standards.
- →Formulate mental health interventions and assist with implementing and monitoring treatment plans.
- →Provide individual and group therapy using various modalities as clinically indicated to include brief problem-focused psychotherapy, cognitive-mental therapy, and client-centered therapy.
- →Provide on-going consultation services for a sub-set of patients who require on-going monitoring and follow-up (i.e., continuity consultations) with providers where appropriate.
