About the Role
Miami VA Medical Center is looking for a Social Worker Associate. They accept and support the guiding principles of the Medical Center, performs assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care, outstanding customer service, and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving veterans. They actively support the team concept and functions as a team player, contribute to team initiatives and continuously strive to improve the effectiveness of the team to which s/he is assigned.
What You'll Do
- →This position is located within Bruce W Carter Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Miami, FL.
- →The Social Worker Associate helps to enable patients and their families to function at their fullest potential, and to enhance their quality of life through the development of personal, familial, social, medical, economic resources and facilitates linkage between patient and family with VA and community support systems which allows patients to remain in their homes.
- →Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating tours of duty as needed.

Requirements
