This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), within the Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs (DCSP), located in Washington, D.C. This position is at the full performance level. This position is outside the bargaining unit. This position is NOT remote. Selectee will be expected to report to the office listed above.
What You'll Do
- →Duties of the Senior Technical Advisor position include, but are not limited to, the following: Providing technical expertise and leadership within the directorate for planning, development, management and evaluation of a wide range of administrative and management initiatives and functions.
- →Designing and developing transformational, cutting-edge initiatives aligned with OSHA and DCSP policies and external stakeholder needs.
- →Developing evaluation reports, proposed policy changes, and recommended courses of action that often have agency and nation-wide impact and significance.
- →Establishing and maintaining guidance and cooperative assistance with OSHA's external stakeholders (State Plans, alliances, partnerships, international partners).
- →Conducting extensive fact-finding and project planning for major studies and nationwide program initiatives.
- →Developing evaluation reports, proposed changes, and recommended courses of action that often have agency and nation-wide impact and significance.
