About the Role
The GS-12 Caregiver Support Program (CSP) Senior Social Worker for the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers is assigned to the CSP with responsibility to act as a subject matter expert (SME) within the CSP team.
What You'll Do
- →Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Senior Social Worker - Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Program Family Caregivers assists in the day-to-day operations of the Caregiver Support Program and ensures compliance and collaboration with local facility and VA Central Office Caregiver Support Program initiatives.
- →This position collaborates with other members of the Caregiver Support Program team in the provision of comprehensive health care services to Veterans, ensuring equity of access, service and benefits to this population, and ensures the care provided is of the highest quality.
- →This position provides leadership, direction, orientation, coaching, in-service training, staff development, and continuing education programs as assigned.
- →They serve on committees, work groups, and task forces at the facility, VISN, and national level or in the community as deemed appropriate by the supervisor, Social Work Executive, or Chief of Social Work Services.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (Subject to change based on the needs of the Agency) Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not Authorized Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.

- →Child Care Subsidy: After 60 days of employment, full time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum of $416.66.

Requirements
