About the Position: This position serves as a Senior Exercise Planner for the Joint Activities located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a liaison officer interfacing with senior leadership in order to ensure the appropriate approvals are obtained and to de-conflict operations for real-world contingencies.
- →Coordinates with US country team and/or local representatives to identify potential exercise locations.
- →Briefs host nation and/or local authorities to obtain permission for conduct of exercise activities.
- →Lead and oversee special operations exercises, involving each of the Geographic Combatant Commanders (GCC) on a rotating basis.
- →Plans and executes a series of global readiness exercises and short duration emergency deployment readiness exercises that directly support COMJSOC requirements.
- →Provides regular exercise updates in the form of briefings, information papers and other product development for the COMJSOC, Director, and other senior leaders.
- →Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and lead in the coordination and execution of complex exercises and operational rehearsals that include combatant commands and Staff.
- →Responsible for developing challenging and relevant exercise scenarios that incorporate intelligence threat assessments and CCMD contingency plans.
- →Develops the manning requirements for Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) and target support locations.
